had a really great time with my parents. You do not realise how old they are getting until you live a day in their life. I lived 5 days with them and boy was that interesting. Really glad I was able to go, I feel had I not have been with them (they would have made it) but not nearly been able to do as much. I was able to keep pushing them and keeping them going. Everyone see things differently and I like to explore, so I keep them out and going up and down that strip all day and night. We don't do night clubs or bars, the most mom drinks is a about a half of a fuzzy navel each night. Let me tell you I had some real party animals on my hands!!! Just to be able to enjoy my parents was the best part, being able to see what they enjoy and how they are able to enjoy it was rewarding to me. You don't realise your parents really are your best friends until they are almost gone or gone and then it's to late. I am able to realise while I still have time to enjoy them. I did not take very many pictures this trip, even had two camera's with me, wanted to enjoy the company instead of sticking the camera in their face all the time.
Red M&M and Me outside the M&M factory in Las Vegas.
Mike's job is going well, he seems to really like it. He tells me all the time "I have a lot to learn", when he was in the plumbing field doing the same thing day after day you forget how much you learn and it becomes routine daily, now he is a whole new field and had to start from the bottom. He has been putting in about 50 hours each week, but when you work with gas, life never stops. I am liking the the pay check he is bring home with 50 hours a week but also concerned how tried he is. We have his company Christmas party tomorrow night, looking forward to meeting some of the other staff members that work in the fields and make new friends also.
Kelsey has returned to bowling last week, she was excited to get back into that again. Her goal is to make the high school bowling team and she wanted to get her average back up again. I am proud to say, with not bowling in about 6 months her starting average is 138. not bad girly, keep up the good work.
MERRY CHRISTMAS
I hope everyone has a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Wish we could all spend it together, but with thousand of miles apart that is impossible. Just know that we love all of you and think about you often. You might be just up the road or across the world, that does not stop the love we feel for each of you. Enjoy your family, for time is something you can not get back and if there is one thing I want to say I live by daily is Don't have any regrets. Hug that person you never hugged before, say I love you and surprise someone. or just take the time to call and say Hi.
You never know when it might be your last.
Hugs and Kisses to all
